BROOKINGS, S.D. – Omaha Women's Soccer (5-6-4, 2-2-1 Summit) was unable to hold on its first half lead against South Dakota State Sunday, as the Mavericks allowed three unanswered Jackrabbit goals at Fishback Field in Brookings, S.D. to fall, 3-1.

Presley Douglas (Elkhorn, Neb.) who put the Mavericks ahead 1-0 slotting the ball into the far-right corner of the net for her second goal of the season. This marked Dobbestein's sixth assist of the season.
The Mavs dominated the first half with 11 shots, including six on-goal, while the Jackrabbits recorded six shots with none on-target. Omaha also held a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
In the 64th minute, Jenna Maloy equalized for the Jackrabbits. Nine minutes later, teammate Emma Brezenski gave SDSU its first lead of the match, 2-1, which she followed up with the game-winner in the 83rd minute to cement the 3-1 victory for the home side.
Omaha returns home to Caniglia Field to take on Denver in Omaha, Neb. on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 12 p.m. CT live on the Summit League Network.
