Box Score OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Women's Tennis started its 2025 season with two matches at home as it hosted Sioux Falls and Morningside. It beat both by scores of 7-0 at Miracle Hills Tennis Center on Saturday evening.

Adam Summitt said. "Sioux Falls and Morningside are solid programs. They have great athletes and talented tennis players."
The Mavericks did not drop a single set today on their home courts.
In doubles matches, Omaha posted a record of 6-0 and went 12-0 in singles to kick off the championship season.
Freshman
Katelynn Kock went 2-0 in singles and only gave up two games. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native outscored her two opponents 24-2 through four sets.
"This was exactly how we needed to start the season," Summitt added. "We were able to shake off some rust and work on things we've been doing over the past few weeks. We got everyone some playing time, and the freshmen came away with their first dual-match wins."
Junior
Jacqueline Pearsall and Kock paired well in doubles, winning their one-set 6-0.
Junior
Summer Shannon's matchup with Morningside's Lidia Suarez was the sole match that was retired for the Mavericks on Saturday.
The Mavericks head to Ames, Iowa, next week for two dual meets. They begin with Iowa State on Friday, Jan. 24, at 3 p.m. CT and then wrap up on Saturday, Jan. 25, against North Texas at 10 a.m. CT at Ames Fitness Center—South.
