Quick Kicks
• After their match at Nebraska was rained out on Thursday, the Mavericks returned home to take on Drake on Sunday, shutting out the Bulldogs 2-0. Now at 3-0-2, this is the longest undefeated streak Omaha has had to start season in the Division I era.
• With the victory, Omaha remains ranked No. 7 for the second straight week in the United Soccer Coaches Top 10 NCAA DI Women - West Region.
• Marissa Gohr scored 90 seconds into the match with her second goal of the season. Getting the assist was Alyssa Kellar. With seven points on the season, Gohr ranks second in the Summit League, while Kellar (five points) ranks seventh.
• Cece Behrens scored Omaha's second goal of the match, her first of the year, on a corner kick from Grace Crockett. The assist was Grace's 13th of her career, putting her one away from tying the program's Division I record.
• Led by Regan Zimmers and Grace Ostergaard, Omaha's defense turned in another elite performance vs. Drake. With only nine shots allowed, this was the third time this season Omaha held an opponent under 10 shots. Sunday was also the fourth time this year the Mavericks allowed less than five shots on goal.

Scouting the Portland State Vikings
For the second season in a row, the Vikings are off to an 0-3 start with only one goal scored. They did ultimately rebound to finish 8-8-2 in 2023, but at the moment Portland State begins its 2024 campaign with a 2-1 loss at Boise State followed by back-to-back shutouts at the hands of Oregon and Kansas State.
Vikings to Watch
Freshman forward Aliayha Saldana scored Portland State's lone goal this year in her collegiate debut on opening day against Boise State. Recording the assist, the first of her career, was sophomore defender Kainani Jacang.
