The Omaha Women's Soccer team officially released its Fall 2024 schedule on Wednesday, featuring 18 matches plus one exhibition. The Mavericks will play 10 non-conference matches and eight Summit League matches, with nine total home matches.
Following a road exhibition against crosstown rival Creighton (August 11), the Mavericks kick off their non-conference schedule at home vs. Southern Illinois - Edwardsville on August 15 and Lindenwood three days later. They will then play their first three road matches of the year at Southern Utah (August 22), Utah Tech (August 25) and then Nebraska to wrap up the road trip on August 29.
After facing the Power 5 opponent, the Mavericks return home and open September against Drake (Sept. 1) and Portlant State (Sept. 6). Omaha returns to the road for one match against UC Santa Barbara on September 12. The Mavericks return to Caniglia three days later for a match against Northern Iowa then close out their non-conference slate on September 20 against Colorado State on the road.
Omaha will begin their Summit League schedule with two home games against North Dakota State (Sept. 26) and South Dakota State (Sept. 29). This is followed by a road match against South Dakota on October 3. They'll return home for a pair of matches at Caniglia against North Dakota (Oct. 10) and St. Thomas (Oct. 13)
Into the final stretch, Omaha closes out the regular season on the road against Denver (Oct. 17), Oral Roberts (Oct. 20) and Kansas City (Oct. 27).
The Mavericks closed out the 2023 season 7-5-7 with a second consecutive trip to the Summit League Championship where they finished runner-up to South Dakota State.
