Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Omaha Mavericks dominated the series-opening doubleheader against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks. Omaha won game one 7-0, and picked up their second win in game two 7-1 to secure the series victory. 

The Mavericks are now 34-11 overall and 11-3 in conference play. 

Game One: Omaha 7, North Dakota 0 
How It Happened
    - Omaha got on the board quick with an RBI ground out to first from Sydney Thomason, driving in Lynsey Tucker in the top of the first. 
    - Tucker made it 2-0 in the top of the second with an RBI ground out to second-scoring Jaelle Johnson. 
    - Maggie O'Brien reached first on an error which allowed Marra Cramer to score making it 3-0. 
    - Alex Olson added one more run with an RBI single to second to score Maggie O'Brien from second, making it 4-0 in the top of the second. 
    - Ava Rongisch made it 5-0 in the top of the third with a lead-off homer to center. 
    - Rongisch put another two on the board with a double to right field, scoring both Sydney Ross and Thomason.   
    
Game Notes
    - Rongisch went 2-4 at-bat scoring one run and tallying three RBIs. 
    - The Mavericks stole three bases. 
    - Omaha out-hit UND 9-0.
    - Kamryn Meyer pitched 3.2 innings and Abby Flanagan pitched 3.1 where neither allowed a hit or run. 
    - Meyer with 10 at-bats threw six strikeouts. 

Game Two: Omaha 7, North Dakota 1 
How It Happened
    - Omaha once again got on the board in the top of the first with a bunt from O'Brien. Maggie went to make her bunt a double making the UND pitcher throw to second. With Tucker off the base, they overthrew to third allowing her to score. 
    - Thomason hit a sacrifice fly to right field to drive in O'Brien from third making it 2-0. 
    - Tucker got caught in a pickle in the top of the second. She stayed in it long enough for Jaelle Johnson to score but ultimately was tagged out to end the inning. 
    - In the top of the fourth, Tucker hit a two-run RBI double to left center to put Omaha up 5-0. 
    - UND scored their first run of the day in the bottom of the fourth. 
    - Olson drove in Thomason from second with a line drive to right field in the top of the fifth to make it 6-1.
    - Ross capped the Mavericks off at seven in the top of the seventh with a hit up the left-field line. 
    
Game Notes
    - Tucker went 3-4 with a 1.00 slugging percentage, in addition to scoring one run and notching two RBIs. 
    - Jaelle Johnson went 1-2 with a 1.00 slugging percentage and scored two runs. 
    - Maggie O'Brien with two hits in game two extends her hitting streak to 17. 
    - Sydney Nuismer picked up the victory with seven innings of work for a 1.00 ERA. With 25 batters, she threw five strikeouts.
