Box Score The Omaha Mavericks fell to cross-town rival Creighton 7-3 on Tuesday after falling behind in the first inning.

How It Happened
- The Mavericks got on the board first with a one-out sacrifice fly to center by Alex Olson to score in Maggie O'Brien from third.
- Creighton took the lead in the bottom of the first 7-1. Four of their runs came from RBI singles.
- In the top of the second, on an overthrown ball to second trying to get Marra Cramer out on the steal, Jaelle Johnson stole home for the Maverick's second run.
- The Mavericks locked down defensively to hold the Bluejays to their seven runs.
- Maggie O'Brien ended the game with her first career home run to right field to make it 7-3.

- Maggie O'Brien went 2-3 and has now had at least one hit in the last 15 games. She also scored two runs and one RBI.
- Abby Flanagan came in as relief to pitch 6.0 innings. She allowed six hits and zero runs and threw two strikeouts.
- Sydney Nuismer started pitching where she faced seven batter, allowing seven runs and three hits.
