- With a .981 fielding percentage, the Mavericks are one of the best defensive teams in the nation, ranking first in the league and second in the country.
- Omaha leads the all-time series against South Dakota 80-21. The Mavericks have won the last eight games against the Coyotes. The last time they played was in the 2023 Summit League Tournament where they dominated 14-2 in five-innings.
