The Omaha Mavericks women's tennis squad swept the weekend with a dominant win against Minnesota State 5-2.

The Mavericks improved to an 9-13 overall record on the season and are now 1-3 in conference action. 

"Really good way to end the weekend. Mankato really played well and challenged us. They were a great doubles team and made us play better. Singles they pushed us in some spots. A few of their players played very loose and just flat out beat us and not much we could do. I thought Addison and Brooke stepped up today. They haven't played as much, and they came through for a us. We hope to get everyone healthy for next Saturday."

The Mavericks will host the St. Thomas Tommies for Senior Night in Saturday, April 6 at 3:30 p.m.
