Box Score The Omaha Mavericks women's tennis squad defeated Oral Roberts 5-2 on Friday night. 

The Mavericks improved to an 8-13 overall record on the season and are now 1-3 in conference action. 

"We had a great rebound from last weekend," said head coach Adam Summitt. "I'm proud of the effort from the ladies tonight. They earned this win. We played some great doubles. Singles, we started quick, but, Oral Roberts wouldn't go away. They made us dig deep and compete. We responded in the right way. Every match going forward will be just as competitive."

Omaha accumulated four points in singles and won the double point. Paula Arcarons, Zoe Adkins, and Khayli Buckels all picked up wins in both doubles and singles. 

"Paula played amazing today, to get the clench for us. She has had an up-and-down season in terms of results, but every match she has played she's given her all. Today was a culmination of her efforts and training and being rewarded."

The Mavericks will host the Minnesota State Mavericks tomorrow Saturday, March 30 at 3:30 p.m.
