Mavericks Come Up Just Short to Central Arkansas

Feb 10, 2024

Box Score The Omaha women's tennis team fell just short 4-3 at home to the Central Arkansas Bears.

Full results from the weekend are listed below.

Zoe Adkins picked up a win in both the doubles and singles today.

"Tough loss today," said head coach Adam Summitt. "Came down to the wire and couldn't quite get it. Doubles wasn't the best today and that ended up being a crucial point. I thought Zoe, and Khayli helped create momentum with some quick wins in singles. Those two have been playing well the last couple of weeks. Keegan battled and came back from a set down and fought off match points. Summer kept fighting until the end. Just have to be better and not make as many mistakes next time out."

With Missouri State forfeiting the dual tomorrow, the Mavericks are now slated to play next at Marquette University on Friday, Feb. 16 at 2 p.m.
