BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – Omaha women's tennis finished the second day of events in the Redbird Duals hosted by Illinois State at the Evergreen Racquet Club on Sunday afternoon.
This is Omaha's final event of the fall campaign before competition resumes in January.
"This was a great weekend for us to end the fall season," head coach
Adam Summitt said. "We had three really good duals, and it had been a month since we competed. We had some rust on the first day but competed to end the tournament. We played a thrilling match against Washington University. We had a lot of opportunities to win all those matches, but Washington played better."
"We look forward to the off-season and will be ready for more competition in January," Summit said.
