OMAHA, Neb. – No. 12 Omaha hockey dropped its second straight game to Augustana 4-0.
The Mavericks outshot Augustana 33-21 on the evening but couldn't push one through the Vikings' sophomore goaltender Josh Kotai.
Augustana's scoring started at 10:19 of the first period when senior captain Luke Mobley was given a penalty shot against junior goaltender

Griffin Ludtke was called for hooking.
Following the penalty shot goal, junior Quinn Rudrud and sophomore Brett Meerman both recorded goals in the second period. Meerman scored the game's only power play goal.
Payton Matsui scored the game's final goal at the 12:00 mark of the third period.
The Mavericks will be back in action Friday, Oct. 25 at 7:07 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 26 at 6:07 p.m. when they take on Minnesota State in Mankato, Minn.
