Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Omaha women's tennis team competed in their first home double-header Saturday afternoon.

"Fun matches today for everyone. Both Sioux Falls and Midland are competitive teams that challenged us throughout the day," said head coach Adam Summitt. "We had some pressure spots that I thought we excelled in, and some we didn't. But, that's okay and we will learn from it. Good confidence booster before a couple days off."

Omaha's first dual of the day was against the University of Sioux Falls where the Mavericks swept the Cougars 7-0, picking up their first win of the season. 

The Mavericks saw action again later in the afternoon against Midland University where they had their second sweep, going 7-0 over the Vikings. 

The Omaha Mavericks upcoming schedule is slated for three road contests. They will start at Bradley University on Jan. 27.
