Men's Basketball Releases 2023-24 Schedule

OMAHA, Neb. – Head men's basketball coach Chris Crutchfield officially announced the full 2023-24 schedule on Thursday. The 30-game schedule features 16 games against Summit League opponents and 14 non-conference opponents, including a bout with No. 22 TCU.

The Mavericks open the season at home when they host Doane University on November 6, before hitting the road to face TCU on November 11 and North Texas on November 16. Next is a three-game tournament in Colorado Springs from November 17-19, first taking on the host Air Force followed by Lindenwood and William & Mary.

Omaha will then have a three-game home stand against Mid-American Christian (Nov. 22), York (Nov. 27), and Bellevue (Nov. 30), followed by another trip to Texas where they will face Texas Tech (Dec. 6) and Corpus Christi (Dec. 9).

After their second Texas road trip, the team is back at Baxter for three games, starting with Stetson on December 17 and Cal Poly on December 21. The third game will be the Summit League opener vs. Denver on December 29. The Mavericks will be back on the road to finish off 2023 with a New Year's Eve bout with South Dakota.

Omaha brings in the new year with its final two non-conference games of the season as the team hosts Northern Arizona on January 3 and plays at Idaho State on January 6.

From there, it is all Summit League matches the rest of the way. First, the Mavericks face North Dakota (Jan. 11) and North Dakota State (Jan. 13) at home, followed by a single road game at South Dakota State (Jan. 18) before returning to Baxter for one vs. Kansas City (Jan. 20).

Closing out January will be a couple of road games at Oral Roberts (Jan. 25) and Denver (Jan. 27). Then, February begins at home when St. Thomas comes to town on the first. Afterwards, the Mavericks play two on the road at North Dakota (Feb. 8) and NDSU (Feb. 10), and two more at home vs. South Dakota (Feb. 15) and SDSU (Feb. 17). 

Entering the final stretch, the Mavericks host ORU on February 22 in their home finale, followed by a game apiece at Kansas City (Feb. 24) and St. Thomas (Feb. 29) to cap off the regular season.

Finally, the Summit League Tournament will take place between March 8-12 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
