OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha swimming & diving season is just around the corner and the full 2023-24 schedule has been announced. This year's slate will feature five home events.
The Mavericks jump back in the H&K pool Friday, Oct. 6 for their first home meet of the season. Omaha is set to host Midland University to kick a three meet home stand.
Continuing the home stand, the Mavericks will host Rockhurst University just a week later on Friday, Oct. 13, followed by Augustana University on Friday, Oct. 27.
November holds the first road meet for the Mavericks for the A3 Invitational in Carbondale, Ill. Omaha will compete Nov. 9-11. The women will host the University of Nebraska on Saturday, Nov. 18.
December holds a pair of league meets for the Mavericks. Omaha will start with a meet on Friday, Dec. 1 at home against South Dakota State. The Mavericks will then take the road to Minnesota for another Summit League meet with St. Thomas on Dec. 9.
After the New Year, the Mavericks will see a pair of road meets. Omaha will first see Saint Louis University on Friday, Jan. 19. The next day they will see action against Lindenwood.
The end of January will be wrapped up with another league meet at home against the University of South Dakota on Friday, Jan. 26.
Following a home meet with USD, the Mavericks will head to Sioux Falls to wrap up regular season action for the Coyote invite Feb. 2-3.The divers will be at H&K Pool for the Omaha Diving Invite those same dates.
The Summit League Championships are scheduled for Feb. 21-24. They will be hosted this season in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
