"We weren't quite sure what this meet was going to look like with 18 seniors departing last year and bringing in 20 incomers," said head coach
Jessica Hessel. "This group went out racing like a veteran team with no fear. Getting wins for both the men and women against a conference opponent to start the season is a bonus but what's most important is to get back to work and stay focused on the ultimate goal of our season. I'm looking forward to seeing what this group can do."
Omaha returns to action tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 4, hosting Rockhurst at the H&K Pool on-campus. The dual begins at 12:30 p.m. CT.
