OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving head coach
Jessica Hessel announced the Mavericks' 2026-27 schedule Tuesday, highlighted by six home competitions at H&K Pool and the program's return to the Summit League Championships in February.
Omaha opens the season on Sept. 25 at the Good Life Relays before hosting its annual White vs. Black intrasquad meet on Sept. 26 at H&K Pool. The Mavericks officially begin dual competition at home against Rockhurst on Oct. 3.
The Mavericks remain at home for a pair of October meets, welcoming Iowa Western and Colorado School of Mines on Oct. 16 before hosting South Dakota State and Nebraska on Oct. 17.
Omaha returns to the road on Oct. 30 for a matchup at Missouri State before competing in the A3 Swim only Invitational, hosted by Southern Illinois, beginning Nov. 12, running through Nov. 14 and the Mizzou Dive only Invite on Nov. 18.
The Mavericks close out the fall with a home dual against Augustana on Dec. 11.
Competition resumes in January as Omaha hosts St. Thomas on Jan. 15 before traveling to South Dakota on Jan. 22. The Mavericks then return to South Dakota to compete at the Coyote Invite on Feb. 5-6 to conclude the regular season.
The 2027 Summit League Swimming and Diving Championships are scheduled for Feb. 24-27 in Iowa City, Iowa at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center. Omaha will look to build on a successful 2025-26 campaign in which both the men's and women's teams earned third-place finishes at the conference meet.
