The Omaha Mavericks continue to be busy in the transfer portal landing former Wisconsin Badger winger, Zach Urdahl.

Urdahl joins the Mavericks after spending two seasons in Madison. The Eau Claire, Wisconsin native appeared in 70 games for the Badgers totaling 10 goals and eight assists. Racking up 110 shots, Urdahl recorded one power play lamp lighter, one shorthanded tally and two game winning goals. From Nov. 11 - Dec. 2, he
embarked on a five-game point streak putting up four goals and two helpers.

"Omaha has unbelievable facilities and a great group. I'm super excited to be joining the Mavericks and I'm really grateful for the opportunity," Urdahl said.

Before the Badgers, Urdahl spent his junior hockey just up the road with Lincoln Stars of the USHL from 2018-2021. Splitting time between the Stars and Des Moines Buccaneers in his final year of Juniors, he scored 22 goals and 14 assists in 48 total games. His Juniors career spanned 103 games totaling 61 points.
