Graduate racket Jessica Aragon was named the TicketSmarter Summit League Women's Tennis Peak Performer of the Week. Aragon went 2-0 last weekend helping the Mavericks triumph 4-3 in a must-win match against South Dakota.

The Plano, Texas native won her doubles set 6-2 and then defeated her opponent in straight sets 6-2,6-3 at the No. 1 singles slot. Aragon leads all Mavericks with 12 singles victories this season. She has also tallied eight doubles victories on the season.

Aragon and the Mavericks will look to extend their season this weekend when they head to Tulsa, Oklahoma to face Denver in the opening round of the Summit League tournament. The Mavericks and Pioneers will faceoff at 3:00 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
