Kamryn Meyer dominated the circle en route to her first Summit League Peak Pitcher of the Week honors this season. In 13.1 innings over two starts, Meyer allowed just six hits and kept both opposing teams from recording an earned run. Meyer improves her ERA to a Summit-League best 1.24 through 10 appearances, allowing eight earned runs in 45 innings so far.

Rachel Weber turned out another good weekend for the Mavericks. She finished with five hits and a home run, her third of the season. Weber batted in five runs over five games throughout the event, and leads the Mavericks with 15 RBI on the young season.

Lynsey Tucker continues to lead the Mavericks with a batting average of .395. Tucker has collected 17 hits in 15 games, carrying an on-base-plus-slugging percentage of .912.
•The Mavericks recorded a season-high 17 runs against Alcorn State last weekend (Mar. 4). They used 17 hits to drive in 12 runs, also season highs.
•Through 15 games this season, Omaha hitters lead the Summit League with 32 doubles. They have allowed just 10 doubles in the field, which also leads the league. • Omaha was tabbed second in the 2023 Summit League Preseason Poll.

Mike Heard enters his second season at the helm. He compiled a 32-14 overall record in his first year. Over his seven-year head coaching career, Heard sits at 184-110.
SCOUTING THE EAST TENNESSEE STATE BUCCANEERS
Interim Head Coach: Cheryl Milligan Career: 541-208-1 (18 Years) ETSU: 4-13-0 (First Year)
The Buccaneers are off to a 4-13 start this season. ETSU enters the Bulldog Invitational after a home-opening weekend in which the Bucs went 1-2. ETSU earned its first victory of the season at North Carolina State, shutting out the Wolfpack by a score of 5-0.
BUCCANEERS TO WATCH • Sarah Muir leads the Buccaneers with a .383 batting average, including 17 hits and five home runs. Muir also pitches for the Bucs, making eight appearances in the circle, including three starts. • Riley Nayadley is averaging .333 at the plate. Nayadley leads the Bucs with 20 hits on the season.
SCOUTING THE MISSISSIPPI STATE BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs are off to a hot start this season with a record of 16-5. Mississippi State has won nine of its last 10 games. The Bulldogs are 5-1 at Nusz Park in Starkville Miss., where they have played their last six games.
BULLDOGS TO WATCH • Kiersten Landers (.400), Paige Cook (.380), and Aquana Brownlee (.369) are hitting above .350 for the Bulldogs. Chloe Malau'ulu has 20 RBI already and leads MSU with five homers. • Josey Marron is a perfect 7-0 in seven starts. Marron has a 1.20 ERA and 61 strikeouts in 41 innings of work.
SCOUTING THE SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA LIONS
Head Coach: Rick Fremin Career: 508-348 (Seventeen Years) SLU: 304-196 (Seven Years)
The Lions (19-2), have lost just two games this season. Both were against No. 7 Alabama (Feb. 24-25). SLU enters this weekend's tournament on a nine-game winning streak. The Lions have outscored their opponents 131-51 in 21 contests this season.
LIONS TO WATCH • Bailey Krolczyk leads the Lions with an average of .411 at the plate. Krolczyk has driven in 13 runs this season, using four doubles and three home runs. Lexi Johnson leads SLU with 24 hits and four home runs. Johnson is one of three Lions with two triples on the year. • KK Ladner has a sub-one ERA in 11 appearances, including six starts. Ladner averages 0.77 earned runs per outting, has struck out 61 batters and allowed 23 hits in 45.2 innings of work.
SCOUTING THE OKLAHOMA SOONERS
Head Coach: Patty Gasso Career: 1,556-403-3 (Thirty-Two Years) OU: 1,395-344-2 (Twenty-Eight Years) A perennial powerhouse, the No. 1 Oklahoma Sooners have opened up the season 17-1. Since their 4-3 loss at No. 20 Baylor (Feb. 19), the Sooners have won nine-straight, forcing the run-rule in six of those games while outscoring their opponents 89-4. SOONERS TO WATCH • Jayda Coleman leads the Sooners in home runs and stolen bases, tallying five of each. • Nicole May is a perfect 5-0 in the circle to start the season. May is one of three NCAA DI pitchers with a 0.00 ERA. Alex Storako tossed a no-hitter against No. 16 Kentucky last week (Mar. 3). Storako carries a 0.27 ERA over seven appearances into this weekend's slate of games.
