The Omaha Women's Tennis team will face a double dose of Golden Eagles this weekend when they take on Oral Roberts and Marquette at Miracle Hill Tennis Center. First serve for Friday's match against ORU is set for 1:30 p.m. Omaha and Marquette will also play at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 1.
 

"We have two good teams this weekend at home. Oral Roberts is a talented team. They beat us the last two years and have been very consistent with their results and players this year. I am hoping we can compete with some passion and grit," Omaha head coach Adam Summitt said. "I thought we played better vs Wichita State than other matches leading up to them. We wanted to use the WSU match as a springboard into this weekend. If we can recreate the feeling of the effort and energy from Sunday, we'll put ourselves in a good position." 

Oral Roberts is currently 5-9 on the season. They are currently riding a three-match winning streak and are coming off a pair of Summit League victories over St. Thomas and Western Illinois. ORU is 1-4 away from home. As for Saturday's opponent, Marquette also comes in at 5-9 this season. MU is winless on the road this season. However, like ORU, they are also riding a three-match winning streak.

Marquette has always been a challenge for us. We have played three times and each time we played them we keep getting a little better vs them. They are a contender in the Big East almost every year. They're well coached and have good athletes. Again, we just want to compete and put ourselves in a position to win. Will take a collective effort this weekend to pick up two wins. Won't be easy, but we are up to the task."
