Box Score The Omaha Mavericks Women's Tennis squad battled Drake University of Friday night in Des Moines, Iowa. Omaha fell to the Bulldogs 1-6 in their fourteenth match of the season.

"We competed well, but not enough to win. We had great energy in doubles, but fell fat flat half way through," head coach Adam Summitt said. "Singles we were in it. Lily played a great match, down 2-5 in first set and clawed back into it. However, for the rest of us we just kept making mistakes that really hurt us. We just have to learn and get better for Sunday"

Lillian Tiemeyer won her singles match 7-6, 6-1 to claim the Mavericks one point. Omaha will return home tomorrow to face the Roos of UM-KC. First serve slated for 3:30 p.m. at Miracle Hill Tennis Center.
