The 7-3 Omaha Mavericks Men's Tennis Squad has landed on the ITA Collegiate Tennis National Rankings for the first time in program history. The Mavericks come in at No. 75 on this week's list.

"This has been a team goal we've been working towards for a couple years now," Omaha head coach Matt Barlow said. "A big thank you to the past and present players for their hard work and commitment to our program, they deserve all the credit. We have many more things we want to accomplish here, but this is a an exciting surprise for sure. Go Mavs!"

The Mavericks opened the season 1-2 on a pair of road trips to Stillwater, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas. Since then, they have won six of their last seven matches. The one match they lost came down to the wire and they were narrowly edged by a score of 4-3.

The Mavericks will be back in action this weekend with a home tilt against Georgetown and a pair of road matches against the University of Arkansas.
