The Basics
Omaha is all set for its last two home games this week. First up, the Mavericks will host South Dakota on Thursday at 7 p.m. Omaha looks to even the series with the Coyotes who picked up a win earlier this season against the Mavericks. Both teams dropped their last game on the road and look to rebound Thursday.

• Omaha dropped two on the road last week and saw its first overtime of the year at North Dakota.

Frankie Fidler and
Tony Osburn scored double-figures vs. the Fighting Hawks, but the Mavericks fell in OT, 76-73.
• Fidler scored a game-high 25 points on 8-of-14 from the field. He was a perfect 8-of-8 at the line. Osburn added 11 points off the bench.

Dylan Brougham had a productive night in the starting lineup. He scored eight points and grabbed a season-high eight boards. He also finished with Omaha's lone block.
• At NDSU, Fidler scored 14 second-half points to lead the Mavericks.
Jaeden Marshall and Osburn scored 12 off the bench to complete the double-figure scoring efforts.
• With three games of the regular season remaining, Omaha is fighting to finish in the bottom three of the standings. Oral Roberts remains the only undefeated team in league play at 14-0 and have claimed the regular season title.
• Following last week's action, the Mavericks continue to sit third overall in the league shooting 77.7 percent from the line. It moved up to 11th overall in the NCAA.
• Fidler's perfect outing at the line at North Dakota boosted his percentage to 88.4 percent and he ranks 20th in the nation.
• He's made a total of 122 free throws this season, which ranks 27th in the country.
• Omaha's bench mob continues to support the Maverick offense. They rank 59th in the NCAA in bench points per game. Omaha averages 23.93.
• Over the last two weeks, Fidler has had 20+ and 3-+ point performances helping bump his scoring average to 14.1 ppg to rank 11th in the league.
• Fidler scored a season-high 33 points against St. Thomas and dropped another 25 points at North Dakota. He's currently on a six-game streak with at least 10 points scored.
• On the glass, Fidler also leads Omaha with 5.7 rpg. He is tied 11th in the league. He's notched at least 10 boards in three games this season, which helped him record double-doubles in those outings. Fidler set a career-best 11 rebounds earlier this season against Idaho.
• Head coach
Chris Crutchfield has a 17-29 overall record. It marks his second season as a head coach and first with the Mavericks.
Scouting the South Dakota Coyotes
The Coyotes are sitting 11-15 overall this season with a 6-8 league record. South Dakota currently sits seventh in the league. USD dropped their last two games to North Dakota and South Dakota. Their last league win was vs. North Dakota State on Feb. 2. Against league opponents, the Coyotes average 68.9 points per game, which ranks eighth on the charts.
Kruz Perrott-Hunt leads South Dakota with 14.1 ppg. He's shooting over 40 percent from the field and three-point range. Perrott-Hunt has scored double-figures over the last 14 games dating back to Dec. 14. He dropped a season-high 30 points vs. Western Illinois.
Eric Peterson is in his first season at the helm of South Dakota. He's compiled a 11-15 overall record.

South Dakota leads the all-time series 54-46. The Coyotes earned a win against the Mavericks earlier this season.
