The Omaha Women's Tennis Team has been selected 4th in the 2023 Summit League Preseason Poll. Full poll results are listed below.
Graduate student
Jessica Aragon was named a Summit League Preseason Player to Watch. The Plano, Texas native spent four seasons with Nebraska, going 22-21 in singles and 27-18 in doubles. During the fall slate, Aragon won seven matches for the Mavericks. She is a former five-star recruit and top-45 player in the country.
"Every year the Summit League gets better. Last year was a very competitive year where the 8th place team had the ability to beat a top team," head coach
Adam Summitt said. "You can't take anything for granted and knowing that every team is better and just as competitive."
Omaha's conference slate is highlighted by six conference matchups, four of which are at home.
"Being picked 4th is good, but we know who we are and where our level is, and can be" Summitt said. "The goal always remains the same, to win the Summit League."
