The Omaha Women's Tennis team is set to take on the University of Northern Iowa tomorrow for their lone action of the weekend. The Mavericks enter the duel match 1-2 while the Panthers come in at 1-3-1 on the season.
"We are ready to get back out and compete again. We saw Northern Iowa a lot in the fall, so we have a good idea of who they are," Omaha head coach
Adam Summitt said. "Though they picked up a few players for spring that are new, we've always had very close matches with them and I don't expect anything different on Saturday. We just have to find the level we had from our matches in Tulsa."
The Mavericks were off last weekend and didn't see any match action. They opened the season at the Hurricane Invite In Tulsa, Oklahoma that featured a big 5-2 over win over Wyoming. Omaha battled Tulsa and Louisiana Tech hard but ultimately fell short.
