After a successful debut event at the Graduate Classic in Lincoln last weekend, the Omaha Mavericks Track & Field team jumps right back into competition this weekend at the Cyclone Open in Ames, Iowa.

"Most, if not all of the team hasn't competed on this track before so I hope they're looking forward to getting some good performances in at a new venue," Omaha head coach Chris Richardson said. "I want the people who competed well last week to continue to improve. For those who didn't hit their mark, I hope they learned what things they need to do better and they come out ready to go."
