JJ White | Guard | Sophomore | Atlanta, Ga. | Colby Community College
White is a 6-2 guard out of Colby Community College where he played one season. White averaged 14.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. He shot nearly 40 percent from the field and connected on 34 percent of his attempts from deep. White scored double-figures in 22 games during his freshman campaign and closed the season on a 13-game double-figure scoring streak. During that stretch, White scored a career-best 26 points on two occasions. He went 10-for-20 from the field with two three-pointers at Hutchinson. He scored 26 two weeks later at Coffeyville on 10-of-22 with five made threes. White dished out a season-high eight assists three times. He tallied six games on the year with at least five assists.
Crutchfield on White: "I've known JJ since his freshman year of high school at Norman in North Oklahoma. JJ is a strong and explosive point guard that has a great feel for how to play. He is a capable scorer and a great facilitator. His biggest attribute is his ability to lead. We are excited to get a player of his caliber so late."
White on Omaha: "I chose Omaha because I loved the city. The people are great, and I loved the coaching staff the moment I met them."
Marquel Sutton | Forward | Sophomore | Tulsa, Okla. | Connors State College
Sutton is a transfer out of Connors State. He averaged 16.6 points and 9.1 rebounds per game in his debut season. Sutton shot over 56 percent from the field and 40 percent from three-point range. He scored double-figures in 26 games highlighted by two 30-point performances vs. Eastern Oklahoma State. Sutton went 15-of-24 on the road for 33 points. At home, he scored 32 on 13-of-20 and 6-for-6 at the charity stripe. Sutton also controlled the boards while at Connors State with 10+ rebounds in 13 games. He grabbed a season-best 17 at Western Oklahoma State.
Crutchfield on Sutton: "Marquel is a long and athletic forward that can step out to three and play around the rim. He put up great stats as a freshman at Connors State. Marquel will give us experience and athleticism at the forward slot. He's a young man that plays with a very high motor, and we are excited to see his growth in Omaha."
Sutton on Omaha: "I chose Omaha because when I first stepped on campus the coaches made me feel like I was at home."
Ja'Sean Glover | Guard | Freshman | Madelia, Minn. | Madelia High School
Glover is a three-sport athlete out of Madelia having competed in football, basketball, and cross country. He averaged over 30 points per game in his senior campaign and finished 10th on the state's all-time scoring list with over 3,100 career points. He was just the 13th boys' basketball player to achieve 3,000 career points in state history. Glover put up a quadruple-double vs. Cleveland High last season filling the stat sheet with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 11 steals, and 10 assists. He also notched a 45-point, 18 rebound double-double vs. Loyola. Glover finished his career as a six-year letterwinner, a five-time captain/co-captain, a four-time All-Valley Conference selection, a four-time All-Journal Selection, and the unanimous 2021-22 All-Journal Boys' Basketball Player of the Year.
Crutchfield on Glover: "Ja'Sean is a long and strong guard that can play all three guard positions and can defend four different positions. We instantly liked his personality and basketball savvy. He scored a ton in his high school career. He gives us length and toughness at the guard spots."
Glover on Omaha: "I chose Omaha because of the relationship I have with the coaching staff. They believe in their players and are willing to compete at a high level to win!"
