The Basics
Omaha will play its final two games of a seven-game road trip this week. First up for the Mavericks is a Wednesday night tipoff at Drake. The game is set fr a 7 p.m. start. The Mavericks are looking to snap a two-game skid, while the Bulldogs look to defend their 4-0 home record.

• Omaha has played its last five games on the road with two more to go. The Mavericks are 2-3 in the stretch with back-to-back wins vs. ULM and Southern to claim the Emerald Coast Classic consolation championship.
• The Mavericks dropped three games to Iowa, Mississippi State, and North Texas.
• In their win vs. ULM,
Akol Arop led Omaha with a career-high 12 points. Arop matched his high last week at North Texas. Arop was 4-of-5 in the win vs. ULM and 4-of-9 against the Mean Green.
• For the first time all season, six Mavericks were in double-figures in the 88-78 win vs. Southern.
Luke Jungers led Omaha off the bench with a career-high 17 points. He hit 3-of-5 from three-point range.
• All-five starters were in double-figures for the first time.

Jaeden Marshall and
Dylan Brougham each scored 11.
• Fidler is on a three-game double-figure scoring streak. The sophomore forward scored 13 vs. Southern 10 at Mississippi State, and 14 at North Texas. His 14 points vs. the Mean Green was a team-high.
• Fidler continues to rank among the top-20 players in the league in several categories. He ranks 17th in ppg (11.3), 12th in rpg (5.3), first in free throw percentage (.905), 15th in apg (2.3), seventh in spg (1.2), and eighth in mpg (31.6).
• As a unit, the Mavericks are shooting 77.7 percent from the line this season, which is the second-best free throw percentage in the Summit League.

JJ White and
Dylan Brougham also find themselves ranked among the best players in the league. White averaged a team-leading 4.0 apg, which is the third best average. Brougham leads Omaha with 1.6 bpg, which ranks second.

Marquel Sutton has really stepped up for the Mavericks in his debut season. Sutton is averaging 10.4 ppg. He's second in scoring on the roster and is shooting nearly 50 percent from the field and over 42 percent from deep.
• Sutton opened the season on a four-game double-figure scoring streak with 11 points at Kansas, 14 at Nebraska, 16 vs. Idaho, and 10 vs. Ball State. Sutton then scored 10 vs. ULM and 15 vs. Southern.
• Since returning from injury, Arop has had a consistent impact for Omaha. In his season debut at Iowa, Arop scored eight points of 4-of-7 from the field with five rebounds.
• Arop then notched a career-best 12 points in the win vs. ULM. He was 4-of-5 from the field and 4-of-4 from the foul line. Arop also had three rebounds, one steal, and two blocks. He matched his career-high with 12 points vs. North Texas. He was one of two Mavericks to surpass 10 points in the loss.
• Crutchfield has an 13-16 overall coaching record. It marks his second season as a head coach and first with the Mavericks.
Scouting the Drake Bulldogs
The Bulldogs are 7-1 so far this season and a perfect 4-0 on their home court. Drake's lone loss was on the road at Indiana State. The season started with a six-game win streak that tipped off with a dominating 80-48 win vs. IUPUI in the opener. The Bulldogs then won against Wofford, Buffalo, Wyoming, Tarleton State, and Louisiana. Drake recently downed UIC, 77-64.
Tucker DeVries leads Drake with 21.3 points per game and is shooting 55.1 percent this season. DeVries also averages 6.0 rebounds per game, which is second on the team. He has scored double-figures in every single game this season highlighted by a season-best 29-points vs. Wyoming. He was 10-of-14 from the field and 4-of-6 from deep. In the last game, DeVries put up 25 points to go with six boards.
Head coach Darian DeVries is in his fifth year as head coach of the Bulldogs. He has a career record of 102-42 at the helm.
