JONESBORO, Ark. – The Omaha men's golf team shot a final round team score of 315 to finish 13th at the ASU Red Wolf Intercollegiate on Tuesday.
The Mavericks finished with a 54-hole score of 919 at the Ridge Point Country Club. Tennessee Martin took home the team championship by virtue of a playoff win over host Arkansas State. Both teams finished with scores of 852. Belmont was third at 871.
Ben Maskus led the Mavericks in scoring for the fourth straight tournament with a total score of 224. He shot 78 in the final round to tie for 24th.
Cameron MacGregor had UNO's low round on Tuesday, 77, to finish at 227. He tied for 43rd in the field of 81 golfers.
Mitch Ryan carded a final round score of 80 to finish at 236, putting him 66th overall.
Kevin Gordon was one stroke back after posting a score of 237 that included a third-round score of 80, good for a tie for 67th.
Sam Musch completed the scoring with a total of 242 that put him in a tie for 72nd.
Kobi Boe, playing as an individual, shot 81 on Tuesday to finish at 237, tying him with Gordon.
The Mavericks return to action at the ORU Shootout at Oral Roberts on Monday and Tuesday, April 11-12.
