PALM DESERT, Calif. - Omaha Men's Golf recorded its third top 10 finish of the season Wednesday when the Mavericks finished fifth of 23 teams at Classic Club. The Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate was won by Clippd No. 46 Colorado.
Senior
Spencer Clatt finished fifth individually, recorded a three-round total of 8-under, his best individual finish and low tournament of the season. Clatt was the co-leader after Monday's first round.
Nolan Johnson recorded the lone eagle for Omaha, turning in a three on the par-5 No. 14. Johnson and
Sam Vocelka finished T34 at even after 54 holes.
Maryland's Emil Riegger finished 10-under to claim the individual crown.
Omaha Men's Golf enjoys a break until March 16 when the Mavericks take part in the ECU Intercollegiate.
