OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's tennis team fell to instate foe Nebraska on Saturday evening, 7-0.  The Mavericks are now 3-8 on the season, while the Cornhuskers improved to 6-4.

Omaha dropped the doubles point to Nebraska.  On court one, Colin Buckley and Ignace Warson fell to Dusty Boyer and Toby Boyer, 6-3.  Matt Dunn and Marko Minic dropped their match at No. 3 doubles, 6-3.

The Mavericks were unable to gain any ground in singles as the Cornhuskers swept all six singles matches.  Warson played a very close match at No. 6 singles against Chris Schindler, but lost 7-5, 7-5.  Erik Anderson played a strong match at No. 5 singles before falling to Bradford Zitsch 6-4, 6-1.  Buckley and Alex Woodward dropped their matches at No. 1 and No. 3 by identical 6-1, 6-4 scores.

Omaha returns to action on Sunday with two matches at the Miracle Hill Tennis Center.  The Mavericks play Hastings College at 4 p.m., before hosting Midland University at 7 p.m.
