LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The Omaha men's golf team finished 16th at the UALR First Tee Classic on Tuesday at the Chenal Country Club.
The Mavericks finished with a team score of 918 after a final round tally of 313. Tulsa won the event with a 54-hole team score of 866, one stroke better than runner-up Memphis. Louisiana Monroe was third at 876.
Taylor Sidzyik led the Mavericks in scoring at 223, closing play with a round of 78 on Tuesday. He finished in a tie for 35th.
Karl Krieser carded a 79 to finish at 230, good for a tie for 64th while Alex Holtan, who shot the day's low round for UNO at 77, posted a total of 232, good for a tie for 68th.
Phillip Baumberger shot a score of 238 that included a final round of 82 that put him in a tie for 82nd. Caleb Haight finished the scoring for the Mavericks with a score of 79 in round three for a total of 239.
The Mavericks are back in action on Monday, April 13 at the ORU Shootout hosted by Oral Roberts.
