Fayetteville, Ark. - The Omaha men's tennis team dropped a pair of matches to Arkansas, 5-0, 5-0 at the Billingsely Tennis Center on Friday night. The Mavs are now 4-8 on the season while the host Razorbacks improve to 11-10. 

One doubles match was not played in either of the matches as Arkansas had already won the doubles point in both of the matches. Two singles matches in both of the matches were also not played due to the Razorbacks having already secured the victory. 

Arkansas 5, Omaha 0
Mike Nott and Juan Marino defeated Adam Dockery and Eric McKnight at No. 1 doubles, 8-1 while James McManus and Erik Anderson fell to Johan Den Toom and Jacob Herndon, 8-3 at No. 2. 

In singles play, Tyler Mericer was defeated by Nott, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 1 and Santiago Munoz topped McKnight, 7-5, 6-3 in No. 2 singles action. Anderson fell at No. 3, 6-2, 6-0 to Den Toom while Herndon beat Lukas Vanzura, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 singles.

Tyler Mercier and Nathan Greteman fell to Pete Thomason and Hall Fess at No. 1 doubles, 8-1 while Christian Lee and Jovan Parlic defeated Lukas Vanzura and Michael Knudsen, 8-3.

Singles action saw Adam Dockery falling to Fess, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 and Parlic defeating James McManus 6-0, 6-0. Nathan Greteman was defeated by Lee, 6-0, 6-2 while Knudsen fell to Thomason, 6-1, 6-0.

The Mavs continue their nine match road trip on Tuesday with a match at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, Fla.  The match will start at 2 p.m. (CT).
