Taylor Sidzyik shot the low round of the day for the Omaha men's golf team on the second day of play at the ODU/Outerbanks Invitational on Monday.
The Mavericks remain in 13th place in the field after shooting a team score of 301 in round two that gives them a 36-hole total of 609. James Madison is in first with a score of 575 while Hartford is second at 578 and George Mason is third with 580.
The final round is Tuesday at 7 a.m. CT at the Kilmarlic Golf Course.
Sidzyik shot a two-over round of 73 to lead the Mavericks in round two. He's second in scoring for UNO and tied for 40th overall with a total score of 150. That puts him two shots behind
Karl Krieser who carded a 76 on Tuesday. His score of 148 has him in a tie for 30th.
Alex Holtan is third for UNO and in a tie for 59th overall with a 36-hole score of 155 while
Phillip Baumberger is in a tie for 70th with a score of 158. Both players shot 76 in round two.
Brandon Sletmoen completed the scoring for the Mavericks with a round of 84 that has him at 164 for the tournament, tied for 74th.
This is the final tournament of the fall season for the Mavericks.
