OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO men's tennis team dropped two duel matches to No. 54 Arkansas on Tuesday, 7-0 and 4-0, at Hanscom Brandeis Tennis Center.
The Mavericks are now 5-12 overall on the season. Arkansas improved to 15-15.
The Mavs weren't able to win any sets against the Razorbacks.
Conner Tieszen put up the toughest fight, falling to Jovan Parlic, 6-4, 6-2 in No. 1 singles in the first match. The second match ended after four singles matches with the Razorbacks already having clinched the victory. Arkansas also beat the Mavs 7-0 back on Jan. 20 in Omaha.
UNO hosts Kansas City on Wednesday at Noon and South Dakota State on Saturday at 2 p.m. to conclude Summit League play. Wednesday's match will be played indoors at Hanscom Brandeis Tennis Center, and it is likely that Saturday's will as well. The Mavericks have also added a match this Sunday against Michigan State at 7 p.m. at Hanscom.
