VALPARAISO, Ind. - The UNO men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 duel at Valparaiso on Saturday.

With the loss, the Mavericks are now 4-10 on the season. Valparaiso improved to 11-7.

Eric McKnight (No. 5) and Matt Frost (No. 6) picked up the Mavs' two points with singles wins. McKnight beat Lucas Waak, 6-2, 6-4. Frost beat Daniel Etman, 5-7, 6-3, 11-9.

The Crusaders won the Nos. 1-4 singles matches in straight sets and took all three doubles matches.

The Mavs wrap up their road trip on Sunday at Chicago State. The match will be played indoors and is set for a 7 a.m. start.
