HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Omaha women's tennis team kicked off its Spring Break tournament trip on Tuesday morning, falling 7-0 to NJIT at the Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort. The Mavericks are now 3-6 (1-1 Summit League) on the season.
The Highlanders won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point. NJIT then swept all six singles matches in straight sets, closing out the day with a final score of 7-0.
Omaha returns to action on Wednesday, March 20, facing Georgia Southern. The match is slated to start at 11:30 a.m. in Hilton Head, S.C.
