TOPEKA, Kan. – The UNO men's tennis team went 0-2 Saturday afternoon, falling 9-0 to Washburn and 8-1 to Bethany.
The Ichabods won all six singles matches and all three doubles matches to top the Mavs. UNO's
Anthony Forcucci forced a tiebreaker in his No. 2 singles match with Paschal Laucht, but Forcucci eventually fell 3-6, 6-0, 10-5.
Peter Greteman and
Connor Larson stayed close at No. 2 doubles, but lost 8-6 to Bobby Florence and Laucht.
The Mavs came back strong in the second match of the afternoon but fell to Bethany 8-1.
Connor Larson picked up the only win for the Mavs at No. 3 singles, knocking off Reggie Ronning, 6-2, 7-5.
