KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The UNO men's tennis team fell 5-0 to the No. 18 Northwest Missouri State Bearcats on Friday in the semifinals of the MIAA Conference Championship at Hilltop. 

The Bearcats (18-4, 4-0) won all three doubles matches to take control. Eric McKnight and Anthony Forcucci put up the best fight at No. 2 doubles, falling 8-3 to Malcolm Harrison and Daniel Quesada.

Only two singles matches finished. Philip Hultquist defeated Forcucci 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4 singles, and Quesada beat Brandon Otoski, 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles, as the Bearcats won the first five decisions to clinch the win and advance to the final on Saturday.

The Mavs ended the season with a 9-9 record and a 2-2 mark in conference play.
