Lauren Fox# stopped a career-high 11 shots, but the UNO soccer team couldn't overcome a wide shot margin, losing to Central Missouri 1-0 on Thursday night at Jennies' Field.  The Mavericks were not credited with a shot in the game while the Jennies fired 25 including 12 on goal. 
The loss drops the Mavericks to 6-7-1 on the year and 6-5-1 in the MIAA.  Second-ranked Central Missouri won both games of the season series and improved to a perfect 11-0 in league play, 13-0 overall. 
After a scoreless first half, Central Missouri scored its only goal in the 78th minute as Carley Stanley picked up her sixth of the year on an assist from Cindy Lackey. 
Fox was at her best in the second half when she made eight of her 11 saves.  Her previous career high had been nine saves at Central Oklahoma on Sept. 3 of this season. 
UNO returns to action on Saturday, Oct. 23 when it hosts Southwest Baptist at 12 noon at UNO soccer field.  The Mavericks will honor its two seniors, Fox and midfielder #
