SEWARD, Neb. - Chase Petersen earned UNO four points as the Mavericks won twice Thursday afternoon in a pair of duals. The Mavs beat Hastings, 6-3 and then took down Concordia, 5-4 to improve to 8-8 as their inaugural regular season came to an end.

UNO will compete in the MIAA postseason tournament this weekend in Kansas City, Mo., starting with a first round game Saturday at 10 a.m.

Petersen won both his matches at No. 2 doubles with partner Matt Frost and he also won both his matches at No. 4 singles.

Frost won a match at No. 1 singles against  Hastings. Jon McQuistan won a pair of matches, winning at No. 3 singles against Hastings and at No. 1 doubles with Marcus Hansen against Concordia.
