MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Maverick tennis teams were swept in MIAA action at Northwest Missouri State Wednesday with the women falling, 7-2 and the men losing, 9-0.

Rachel Faulk had a hand in both of her team's points. She teamed with Traci Moklestad for an 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles and then she got a win at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2.

The Bearcats took all the rest of the matches with Moklestad, Kelsie Olson and Heather Hottman forcing their matches into a third set for UNO (6-6, 3-1 MIAA).

The men's team (4-5, 0-2 MIAA) was swept in doubles play and then beaten in straight sets in singles play.

The women will play at Missouri Western Friday while the men will host Doane at 2 p.m. with dual scheduled to be at Koch Tennis Center.
