BOLIVAR, Mo. - The Mavericks hit .333 as a team in a 25-17, 27-25, 25-15, win at Southwest Baptist Saturday.
Nebraska-Omaha snapped a four-match losing streak and improved to 18-8 and 8-5 in the MIAA. The Bearcats fell to 10-18 and 3-9.

Lizzy Mach had nine kills and no errors in 18 attempts for a .500 attack percentage. Sara Kampschnieder led the Mavs with 11 kills and Kelli Goeser had eight. Brittany Hansen# had six and hit .600 with no errors in 10 tries.

Angie Reicks and Amanda Iwansky# led the back row with 12 digs each and Kampschnieder added 11 for another double-double, her seventh of the year.

Emily Myers# led the offense by setting 37 kills. The Mavericks had just nine errors in 108 tries. SBU hit .188 in the match.
The Mavericks hit .393 in the first set and then .333 in the second set. The Bearcats had a chance to take the second set and tie the match. They led late at 23-22 before an SBU service error and kill from Mach gave UNO a one-point lead. After three more ties Kampschnieder got the winning points on a kill and ace.
The Bearcats opened the third set on a 5-1 run and led unitl a 7-1 run from UNO gave the Mavs an 11-8 lead. They held it the rest of the way and closed the set on another 7-1 run.
