PITTSBURG , Kan.  - The Mavericks took set one at Pittsburg State Friday night but dropped the next three sets to the Gorillas in a 3-1 loss.

Nebraska-Omaha dropped its fourth straight match and fell to 17-8 overall and 7-5 in the MIAA while the Gorillas improved to 18-9 and 8-5 in the league with the 21-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-22 win.

Four Mavericks reached double figure kills in the match. #Kelli Goeser had 16 to lead the team. Brittany Hanssen and Sara Kampschnieder each had 12 and Ellen Thommes# had 10. Thommes led the Mavericks with a .385 attack percentage.

#Angie Reicks had 27 digs to lead UNO and Amanda Iwansky had a season-high 21. Kampschnieder added 12 digs for a double-double and Emiy Myers# had a double-double with 12 digs and 46 assitsts.

PSU hit .199 while the Mavericks hit .185 as a team. The Gorillas edged UNO on kills, 58-57 and on digs, 97-91. Pamela Cartagena led the Gorillas with 25 kills and she added 20 digs.
