Kelli Goeser and Sara Kampschnieder blasted 10 kills each while fellow junior Ellen Thommes# collected a career-high 11 blocks to lead the University of Nebraska at Omaha to a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-17) sweep at Northwest Missouri State Wednesday night in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association volleyball action.
With the win, UNO completed the season-sweep over NWMSU, while improving to 15-13 overall and 11-6 in the MIAA. The Bearcats fell to 9-21 and 6-11.
Goeser hit .350 in the match while adding five digs and three blocks. Kampschnieder added a pair of service aces along with three blocks.
Thommes' block total helped the Mavericks gain a commanding 12-4 edge in total team blocks.

Brittany Hanssen# hit for a team-high .438 attack percentage while adding nine kills, four digs and three blocks.

Emily Myers# registered her team-leading 10th double-double of the season with 31 assists and 10 digs while guiding Nebraska-Omaha to an efficient .311 hitting clip.

Kayla Jansen# anchored the UNO defense with a match-high 15 digs as UNO held Northwest to a .122 attack percentage for the match.
The Mavericks return to the Sapp Fieldhouse this Friday for a 7 p.m. MIAA match against Missouri Western.
