Three Mavericks have been selected to the North Central Conference's All-Academic baseball team by a vote of the league's sports information directors.
Bryan Frew,
Alex Kotera and
Brian Goliber were all first-time selections to the 11-member squad.
Frew, a junior third baseman from Grand Island, is a mathematics major with a 3.55 cumulative grade point average. Goliber is a sophomore catcher from Orange City, Iowa, majoring in civil engineering withn a 3.71 GPA. Kotera, a senior shortstop from Wahoo, has a 3.86 GPA in Biology.
To be eligibile for selection, student-athletes must be in their second year at a school, a starter or regular for their team and have a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average.
