A true freshman, he played in every game but one, averaging over 11 minutes...best outing was 16 pts vs. Morningside and 7 rebounds vs. Midland Lutheran.

High School:
Earned all-conference, all-Class B and second-team all-Nebraska honors at Aurora High School under Coach Mike Herzberg while averaging 21 points and 11 rebounds each of his last two seasons...ranked among the top 10 in scoring and rebounding as a senior...was an honor roll student...also lettered in football and track.

Personal:
Born in Holdrege August 4, 1982, the son of David and Susan Kohls...has two sisters, Beth and Sophie, and a brother, James.

“Micah got some spot minutes last year backing up Tola Dada and playing some at the 3 spot. He is a solid player with a decent inside/outside game. He has range to the 3-point line. He will challenge for playing time at the 3-4 position.”
