Biography

2001-02 Season (Junior):
A starter in all but one game, he was a complete player for the Mavs at a wing...second on the team in three-pointers and 4th in steals...scored in double figures 12 times during the season...5th in career three-pointers with 115...led the team in scoring with 14 points in a 77-65 home court win over North Dakota State Jan. 26...shared team lead with 6 rebounds in an 85-80 home win over Augustana Jan. 19.

2000-01 Season (Sophomore):
Played in all 26 games and started 18 times, despite suffering with sore knees most of the season...scored in double figures 12 times, including seven of the first nine...had a career-best 19 points in opening night win over Western State...one of team’s top free throw shooters with a 79.2 mark last year from the line...shot 33.1 per cent from behind the arc...hit on a career-high five three-pointers vs. Abilene Christian.

1999-2000 Season (Freshman):
Competed in 25 games, starting in one...averaged 4.2 points and 1.9 rebound...shot 45 percent from the field and an impressive 44.2 percent from behind the three-point arc...hit 64.3 percent of his free throws...scored a career-high 16 points, shooting 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-6 from three-point range against Northern Colorado on 2-26-00...recorded four double-figure point games.

High School:
A 1999 graduate from Louisville High School...started three years, averaging 18.4 points, 9.93 rebounds, 2.23 assists and 1.93 steals per game...set the school record in career points (1,399), career field goals (425), career three-point field goals (121), career rebounds (755) and career blocked shots (137)...as a senior he averaged 23.8 points, 11.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, shooting 55.2 percent from the field earning Honorary Captain of the Class-C first-team and third-team all-Nebraska honors...named Metro Basketball Coaches Association Class BCD player of the year...led his team to a 14-6 record, the school’s best single-season finish since 1975...he made 154 field goals as a senior, a single-season record he previously set as a junior with 125...as a junior, he averaged 21.8 points, 11.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game, shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 36 percent from behind the three-point arc, earning second-team Class-C all-state honors...was also recruited by Morningside and Nebraska-Kearney...also competed in football, earning four letters, and in track and field, earning three letters...set the school record in the high jump at 6’-2” and career passing yards...earned school’s leadership award in basketball as a senior and in football as a junior and senior.
