As a Senior (2012)
Two-way player for the Mavericks, playing outfield and serving as UNO’s Friday night starter…Posted a record of 1-7 with a 4.30 ERA over 12 starts…Ranked second on the team with 38 strikeouts with 60.2 innings…Batted .205 with five RBI and five runs scored…Made his season debut at Texas A&M Corpus Christi (Feb. 18), allowing one unearned run on four hits over four innings and striking out two…Took the hill against Army (March 13), giving up one run on two hits with a season-best six Ks in five innings…Keyed the game-winning hit in the 19th inning against LIU Brooklyn (March 15) to propel the Mavs to victory…The next night against Bucknell (March 16), finished a perfect 4-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI…Threw six innings against Jacksonville State (March 18), allowing one run on seven hits with five strikeouts…Earned his first win with another six-inning outing at Iowa (March 28), surrendering one unearned run on four hits and fanning three…Went 1-for-1, scored once and walked twice in a win over North Dakota State (April 8)…Tossed a season-long seven innings with four strikeouts at Oakland (April 21)…Followed up with another seven-inning performance at Indiana State (April 27), holding the Sycamores scoreless with just three hits…Contributed a pair of hits in a 12-inning triumph over Indiana State (April 29)…Closed the year with three strikeouts at both Kansas State (May 4) and Creighton (May 9).
